DDoS attack to Boxun exceeds 6GB and still continues

Since Boxun publsihed the first Jasmine Revolution announcement on Feb. 19, Boxun has receiced large amount of DDoS. The attack has exceeded 6GB/second with over  a million data packages/second.  The attack still continues.

For the duration of the sustained strong attack, from 07 MAR 2011 through 12 MAR 2011, we saw an average of 2.55Gbps, with a max spike of 6.55Gbps, then it dropped to very little, 1-200Mbps or less, for a few hours, and came back up Sunday (13 MAR)  morning to around 500Mbps. During the 07 MAR through 12 MAR period it never went below 1Gbps.
Boxun's servers are located in the United States.

Under the help of great people, Boxun's website operates normal most of the time. Boxun and its readers appreciate the efforts of the supporters.
