Updates on the case - arrested reporter Sun Lin (Jie Mu)

Why is the official news release a false statement?
Sun Lin and his wife He Fang were arrested on May 30. According to the co-author of the official news release made by Nanjing Morning on June 1st, Nanjing Police held a "press conference" and gave them the contents of that news release. The other author (Ning GongXuan) is a pen name of Nanjing Police Propaganda Department, which is used frequently in Nanjing newspapers. Another local reporter told Boxun that they (newspaper) receive statement from Police Propaganda Department and newspapers will publish the "news" in its original contents under that pen name.
In the official "news release" of June 1st, two mistakes are obvious:
1) The police concluded the "crime" without giving any details on the same day of arrest. The first arrest was made on May 29, about 10 were released (restaurant employees). They were asked questions such as where are you from, what do you do, etc. Police claimed that they were arrested because there was street group fighting. But police did not ask any question about group fighting.
2) In the news release, it gave a story about a taxi driver who was gun pointed and extorted by Gangster. Boxun called the co-author about this story. He said he interviewed a taxi driver. Boxun asked: how could you find an illegal taxi driver who is the victim of this Gang within hours? (Nanjing Morning must be put in printing in night of May 30 He told that there are many illegal drivers. Then he said: the taxi driver was not the victim but a story he heard. Then Boxun asked: How could you connect this case to Sun Lin? He said: not sure the connection.
In the official news release, it directly use this story as a case committed by Sun Lin. It also reported as the interviewee's personal experience. (Boxun recorded the conversation as future evidence)
